The Whitridge Process
The Whitridge process of understanding our employer’s roles and thoroughly evaluating candidates against those criteria is essential in providing our clients with the right person.
Position Understanding
Our employers have many different requirements as defined by their industry, process, and culture. We spend the time to clearly understand the technical skills, experience level, and personal characteristics that are required to successfully complete the work and to fit into their organizations.
Behavioral Interviewing
Our staff utilizes both technical and behavioral interviewing techniques in order to compile a comprehensive profile of each candidate. We customize our behavioral interview based on the position. These techniques are essential for us to determine whether a candidate can fulfill our employer’s expectations.
Reference Checking
An important component of our process involves contacting a candidate’s prior business associates - managers, peers, and subordinates, to validate information about their past performance, technical skills and aptitude. Our reference checks are designed to capture a behavioral snapshot that provides insight into the environment in which the candidate works best.
Face-to-face Meetings
Whenever possible, we meet with our candidates to develop a rapport and to be in tune with candidate needs and discern those intangible qualities like presence, confidence, and demeanor.
Background, Education, and Credit Evaluations
For those candidates we do not know, we, along with outside agencies, conduct a thorough review of a candidate’s past history. We only represent candidates who can pass our prescreen process.
Client and Candidate Evaluations
We want to ensure that the working arrangement made by Whitridge is successful both from the employer’s and candidate’s perspective. We frequently conduct formal Client and Candidate evaluations that are designed to foster communication and make adjustments. In addition, we meet with our clients to conduct quality checks on an ongoing basis.
