Meet the Whitridge Team – Craig Zimiroski
IT Staffing | Technology Recruiters | Engineering Staffing
Q: What is your background and how did that lead you to joining the Whitridge Team?
I started in the staffing industry right out of college and was part of starting the I/T division from scratch at the very first company I joined. I have managed and led divisions and practice groups in I/T, ERP, Life Sciences, and manufacturing staffing for over 25 years. I was part of the Executive leadership team at my past two staffing company employers before coming to Whitridge Associates. My past experience in successfully growing several staffing companies has aligned with the growth vision at Whitridge.
Q: What do you love most about the IT and Engineering Staffing industry?
The IT and Engineering staffing industry is a very challenging and rewarding business. The sense of accomplishment in creating successful relationships with candidates and clients is a key for me.
Q: To follow that question, what do you think are the biggest challenges in both IT and Engineering Staffing?
The IT and Engineering staffing business is very competitive. The staffing business is a people business. The ability to consistently create and nurture strong and lasting relationships is always a challenge for clients and candidates. It is the basis of success in staffing. The ability to have an established value proposition in a given service area Is very important when engaging clients.
Q: What piece of advice would you give to a young IT Recruiter, just trying to break into the industry?
Be prepared to work hard and apply the training principles on a daily basis that you are taught when starting in the business. Learning and being successful in the staffing business goes hand in hand with doing the everyday deskside activities that will advance your knowledge base in the industry. Commit to at least 1 year in the business to comprehend and put to use the basics of being an I/T recruiter.

Our team and culture here at Whitridge make it a fun environment to expand and grow the company.
Q: Tell us something interesting or funny about yourself that we might not know, “no judgement zone”!

Q: What is the last book you read or podcast you listened to? Favorite of all time?
Last book…Rich Dad Poor Dad. Recent favorite is Black Mass.
